Job summary

HP is seeking a Commercial Print Distributor Business Development Manager, North America to lead the Office Print category with Tier 1 distributors across the United States and Canada. You will own the distributor growth strategy, drive shipment growth, share-of-wallet, and profitability while coordinating with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to accelerate category performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in category management, business development, channel sales, distribution management, product management, or related tech role.
• Direct experience with national or Tier 1 technology distributors.
• Proven success driving category growth and revenue through indirect channels.
• Experience developing distributor business plans and growth strategies.
• Experience supporting product launches and lifecycle transitions.
• Strong financial and analytical skills including ROI analysis.
• Experience influencing cross-functional organizations without direct authority.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Office Print category lead and business owner for assigned Tier 1 distributors.
• Develop and execute annual and multi-year business plans driving growth, revenue, and market share.
• Own category performance outcomes within distributors.
• Translate HP's roadmap into distributor growth strategies.
• Identify opportunities to expand HP's position within distributor portfolios.
• Lead category-focused reviews and long-range growth planning.
• Influence distributor assortment and investments to support category objectives.
• Partner with HP Partner Business Managers for market execution.
• Drive alignment between Portfolio strategy and distributor product plans.
• Ensure distributor readiness for launches with cross-functional teams.
• Manage inventory trends and product mix to mitigate risks.
• Drive portfolio optimization for growth and profitability.
