ACE HANDYMAN SERVICES

Office Manager

Are you the person who can keep customers cared for, craftsmen supported, and a busy day moving in the right direction?

If you thrive on organization, communication, problem-solving, and making things run smoothly, this may be the role for you.

At Ace Handyman Services, our vision is to be the premier, most trusted home repair company in our territory—while adding value to our community and providing jobs with dignity and respect. We are looking for an Office Manager who wants to play a central role in making that vision real every day.

This is much more than a traditional administrative position. You will be at the center of our daily operation: often the first voice a customer hears, the person helping turn a customer’s need into a clear service plan, and the coordinator who helps match the right craftsman to the right job. Your ability to organize details, communicate clearly, and solve problems will directly influence both the customer experience and the efficiency of our team.

No construction experience is required. What matters most is that you are organized, comfortable with customers, adaptable with technology, and motivated to take ownership of the details that keep a service business running well.

Why This Role Matters

Our mission calls for an unparalleled customer experience, continued company growth, and efficient administrative processes. The Office Manager touches all three. You will help us respond quickly to opportunities, keep our craftsmen productive, and create a smooth customer journey from the first call through follow-up.

What You’ll Do
  • Be the Helpful hero by making our clients’ lives better with solutions to their home repair problems!
  • Respond promptly to inbound job leads and customer inquiries.
  • Educate customers on our services, service model, pricing, and availability so they can make confident decisions.
  • Manage and coordinate the daily schedule for multiple craftsmen and projects.
  • Match customer needs with the appropriate craftsman and available appointment window.
  • Support craftsmen with scheduling logistics and material-ordering coordination.
  • Use our dispatching, scheduling, and CRM tools to keep customer and job information accurate and current.
  • Return customer calls, follow up on open opportunities, and reconnect with past customers as appropriate.
  • Help solve day-to-day operational issues before they disrupt the customer experience or the schedule.
  • Perform necessary administrative, paperwork, and filing duties with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to a customer experience capable of supporting our goal of maintaining an average rating of 4.8 stars or better.
Who Will Thrive Here
  • A highly organized person who can manage competing priorities without losing track of the details.
  • A strong communicator who listens carefully, asks good questions, and builds confidence with customers and coworkers.
  • A solution-focused thinker who stays composed when the schedule changes or an unexpected problem appears.
  • Someone comfortable with sales—not high-pressure selling, but helping customers understand the value of the right service solution.
  • A technology-adaptive professional who learns software quickly and appreciates efficient processes.
  • A team-oriented person who treats customers, craftsmen, and coworkers with dignity and respect.
  • Someone who enjoys ownership, accountability, and the satisfaction of making a busy operation run smoothly.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3–5 years of administrative assistant, office management, scheduling, or similar experience.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and office-management skills.
  • Solid typing and general computer skills
What We Offer
  • Starting salary: $55,000-$65,000
  • Paid time off: Paid holidays & paid vacation/sick leave
  • Incentive opportunity : performance bonuses
