This position, within the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), is located at the Asheville Regional Office, 2090 US Highway 70, Swannanoa, NC 28778. DEACS unit managed by this position ensures essential core functions and support to the programs located at this regional office.
The Division of Environmental Assistance and Customer Service (DEACS) provides technical assistance and information to industries, businesses, and government agencies on pollution prevention, waste reduction, recycling, permitting, and environmental issues.
