About The Role
The role owns the day-to-day operations of a remote-first technology company: keeping people, processes, and logistics running smoothly so teams can focus on building product.
The Office Manager acts as the central point of coordination across departments — managing vendors, onboarding, tooling, and company events — and reports directly to leadership on operational health.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end onboarding: coordinate equipment, accounts, access provisioning (Okta, Slack, GSuite), and first-week scheduling for new hires
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement — office supplies, software subscriptions, and service contracts — tracking spend against budget
- Plan and execute company events, offsites, and team gatherings, including logistics, travel, and vendor coordination
- Administer office operations tools and systems, including expense management (Ramp, Expensify), HRIS data hygiene, and facilities coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for facilities, IT, and people-operations requests, triaging and resolving issues quickly
- Support executives with scheduling, travel, and special projects as needed
- Build and document operational processes and playbooks to keep a distributed team running efficiently
What We Are Looking For
- 3-5 years of office management, operations, or executive-assistant experience, ideally in a technology or startup environment
- Proficiency with operational tooling: GSuite, Slack, Okta/identity tooling, HRIS platforms (Rippling, Gusto, or similar), and expense systems
- Demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities across onboarding, procurement, events, and executive support
- Strong written communication and a proactive, service-oriented mindset
- Experience managing budgets and negotiating with vendors
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: Experience supporting a remote-first or hybrid workforce; familiarity with facilities management; event-planning background
