About The Role
The role owns the operational backbone of a fast-moving technology company: the processes, systems, and cross-functional coordination that keep product, engineering, and go-to-market teams executing at full speed.
This is a hands-on execution role in a remote-first organization. You will translate ambiguous problems into clear plans, build the workflows and reporting that make progress visible, and drive initiatives from kickoff through measurable outcome — all without needing an office down the hall.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve core operational processes across onboarding, resource planning, and internal tooling (Notion, Asana/Jira, Slack workflows)
- Run cross-functional projects end-to-end: define scope, build timelines, assign owners, and drive delivery against committed dates
- Build and maintain operational dashboards (Looker, Tableau, or Google Sheets-based) tracking utilization, cycle time, and program KPIs
- Identify bottlenecks through data analysis and process observation; propose and implement fixes with clear before/after metrics
- Coordinate OKR planning and quarterly business reviews, synthesizing input from engineering, product, sales, and finance
- Manage vendor relationships, SaaS contracts, and tooling budgets totaling a meaningful slice of opex
- Surface risks and blockers to leadership early, with options and a recommendation — not just problems
What We Are Looking For
- 4-7 years of operations, program, or project management experience, ideally at a venture-backed or high-growth technology company
- Proven success running multiple concurrent cross-functional projects with remote and distributed teams
- Strong analytical skills: comfortable building models in Google Sheets or Excel and working with BI tools to pull your own answers
- Fluency with modern work-management tooling (Jira, Asana, Linear, Notion) and experience designing workflows in them, not just using them
- Excellent written communication — this role runs on clear docs, crisp updates, and well-run async meetings
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: experience with business systems (HRIS, ITSM, procurement tooling), Okrs/CPM frameworks like SWOT or RICE prioritization, or prior experience as the first ops hire at a startup
