Truex Métier, a leading private investment firm in Los Angeles, seeks an experienced Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its LA headquarters. This highly visible role rewards proactive professionals who can act as the operational backbone of a fast-paced, collaborative office.

You will manage reception, access control, calendars, vendor relationships, travel, events, and basic IT coordination.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5-7 years of office management, workplace operations, or executive administrative experience.
  • Experience in private equity, investment management, financial services, or related professional services preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the reception experience in a professional, polished manner.
  • Coordinate office access, visitor registration, parking validation, and security procedures, including opening/closing the office.
  • Manage calendars, conference room scheduling, and meeting logistics.
  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure an organized, efficient workplace.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, invoices, and annual budgeting support.
  • Assist with travel arrangements and interview coordination.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding, including equipment coordination.
  • Provide basic IT support and liaise with external IT vendors as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the reception experience, ensuring employees, guests, and visitors are consistently welcomed in a professional and polished manner.
  • Coordinate office access, visitor registration, parking validation, and security procedures, including opening and closing the office each day.
  • Ensure incoming calls are answered and directed appropriately.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the office, ensuring an organized, efficient, and well‑maintained workplace.
  • Manage office repairs, maintenance requests, and workplace improvements.
  • Manage office calendars, conference room scheduling, and meeting logistics.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Maintain office supplies, kitchen inventory, snacks, beverages, and workplace amenities.
  • Coordinate weekly catered lunches and assist with company events and employee functions.
  • Support the planning and execution of offsites, retreats, annual meetings, and board and investor events.
  • Assist with travel arrangements and interview coordination for candidates and visitors.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including office services, facilities, and building management.
  • Negotiate pricing and service agreements with vendors where appropriate.
  • Review and process office‑related invoices and expense reports.
  • Track office operating expenses and assist with annual budgeting for workplace operations.
  • Ensure vendors meet service expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for facilities requests and basic IT support, troubleshooting conference room technology, AV equipment, and coordinating with external IT vendors as needed.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including office setup and equipment coordination.
  • Manage office equipment inventory, including laptops, monitors, and peripherals.
  • Support the team with special projects and provide administrative assistance to executives as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve office processes and proactively resolve operational issues.
  • Take ownership of creating an efficient, organized, and welcoming office environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5-7 years of office management, workplace operations, or executive administrative experience.
  • Experience within private equity, investment management, financial services, or another professional services environment is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
