  • Manage patient scheduling, provider coordination, and daily office workflow.
  • Oversee inventory management and ordering of medical and office supplies.
  • Promote a welcoming, respectful environment for all patients.
  • Resolve patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Ensure HIPAA and regulatory compliance across the office.
  • Oversee documentation accuracy, billing workflows, and insurance verification.
  • Partner with billing and coding staff to support proper reimbursement.
  • Manage EHR system functionality and staff training as needed.
  • Lead by example with professionalism, reliability, and communication.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and development of office staff.
  • Foster a positive, solutions-driven workplace culture.
  • Coordinate with physicians and practice leadership on policy and quality initiatives.
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory updates and healthcare best practices.
  • Serve as liaison for vendors, contractors, and external service providers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a managerial role, preferably in a medical office setting.
  • Experience in a gastroenterology office is preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in administrative coordination, staff leadership, and patient service.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems and basic billing workflows.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead with accountability and integrity.
  • Must be able to work one Saturday per month.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable, collaborative leader who thrives in healthcare and is committed to operational excellence and patient care. Compensation will reflect your experience and contributions.
