Business Office Manager (Finance)



The Business Office Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the business office operations of the community. They are responsible for attracting, engaging, developing, and retaining community associates to provide high-quality care and personalized services to residents, while minimizing the use of premium labor in collaboration with the HR department in a CCRC setting.

The manager supports the Executive Director in driving profitable growth and ensuring compliance with operational processes and regulatory requirements. They ensure effective communication with associates, residents, families, vendors, and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring residents are properly billed for services and leading the collection of receivables.
  2. Overseeing payroll to ensure associates are paid correctly.
  3. Processing vendor invoices promptly and accurately.
  4. Supporting an inclusive community culture.

Qualifications required:

  • An Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; additional experience can substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Minimum of three years related experience and/or training.
  • Previous managerial and office setting experience preferred.

The role may include direct supervision of another department.

The salary range is $24.76 to $30.95 per hour, based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for team-based bonus opportunities. Benefits eligibility varies for temporary associates.
