Join Our Team as an Office Manager in Brush Prairie, WA!

At HFI Consultants, we’re passionate about sustainable forestry and delivering top-notch forest management and consulting services to landowners both large and small. Based in Clark County, Washington and our office in Brush Prairie we’re seeking a part-time Office Manager to join our tight-knit team. This role has the exciting potential to grow into a full-time position, taking on responsibilities as an Assistant Project Manager. If you’re organized, eager to learn, and interested in working for us we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do as an Office Manager:

- General business administration tasks to keep our operations running smoothly including, human resources, tax preparation, fleet management, insurances, and office administration.

- Support the team with administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

As the role grows to include Log Accounting, duties will include:

- Learn and use our robust Log Accounting system to:

·Receive Log payments into our escrow account.

·Pay contractors and landowners.

·Pay state Timber tax.

·Account for every dollar per project.

As the role grows further to include Assistant Project Manager, the duties may include:

- Assist in project coordination, including client communication and data management.

- Support forestry consulting projects with administrative and logistical tasks.

Who We’re Looking For:

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Experience in bookkeeping and business administration.

- Willingness to learn our Log Accounting system and forestry-specific processes.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and general computer skills.

- A team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.

- Interest in growing into a project management role is a plus.

- Local to SW Washington.
