B. F. Saul Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Office & Industrial properties in Maryland.

The role covers electrical, plumbing, mechanical and HVACR tasks under the direction of the Chief Engineer, with on-call responsibilities and daily log documentation. The position requires facility experience and strong English communication. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, coordinating with engineers, and ensuring safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in building maintenance (office & industrial).
• Must be able to read and interpret uncomplicated blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and HVACR tasks per safety procedures.
• Document daily activities, inspections and repairs in logs and reports.
• Coordinate with Chief Engineer/Lead Engineer on projects and emergencies.
• Perform preventive maintenance and tenant work orders; supply staffing coverage as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe maintenance area and respond to after-hours emergencies.
