B. F. Saul Company is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for its Washington, DC area properties.

You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVACR systems in a multi-building environment. You will report to the Chief Engineer and coordinate with property staff and contractors to ensure safe, reliable operations. The role requires high school level education, 3+ years in building maintenance, and a valid US driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance engineering disciplines and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in building maintenance and systems repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVACR systems.
• Monitor facility temperature and humidity and ensure safe operation.
• Document daily activities in the logbook and notify supervisor as needed.
• Coordinate with Chief Engineer on projects and with contractors.
