Job summary

The B. F. Saul Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Park Van Ness in the Washington, DC area. You will support the Lead Engineer, handle resident service requests promptly, and perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and apartment turnovers.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of engineering experience with strong customer service, a high school diploma, ability to lift 60 lbs and work up to 25 feet. On-site work with potential 24/7 coverage.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of engineering experience with strong customer service skills.
• Able to lift 60 lbs. and work at heights up to 25 feet.
• Experience in multifamily or hospitality environments preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Engineer in maintaining the property and processing resident service requests.
• Perform preventative maintenance duties, unit inspections, and turnovers/renovations.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and painting as needed.
