OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRING Opening: Office Coordinator Location: Anchorage, AK Pay: $22–$23/hour Schedule: Monday to Friday: 20–30 hours per week We are seeking an organized, dependable, and professional Office Coordinator to support the daily operations of a home care organization providing high-quality elderly home care and companion care services throughout Anchorage and the surrounding areas. This position serves as a central operations resource for the office, supporting reception, administrative functions, scheduling, records, supplies, and the staffing team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a service-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Office Operations & Administration (Primary Responsibility) Coordinate daily office operations and provide general administrative support. Serve as a professional and welcoming first point of contact for clients, families, caregivers, visitors, and vendors. Answer and route phone calls, manage routine correspondence, and assist with general office communications. Maintain organized electronic and paper files, records, forms, and confidential documentation. Manage office supplies, mail, deliveries, and other routine office needs. Maintain accurate calendars, contact lists, and office information. Provide administrative support to leadership and team members as needed.
- Scheduling & Staffing Support Participate as a member of the staffing team while maintaining primary responsibility for overall office operations. Assist with caregiver scheduling, availability, call‑outs, coverage, and schedule changes. Communicate scheduling and operational information accurately and promptly to caregivers and team members. Maintain accurate staffing records and documentation.
- Client & Care Team Support Provide courteous, professional service to clients, families, caregivers, and referral partners. Assist with routine client and caregiver paperwork and direct questions or concerns to the appropriate team member. Handle sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Contribute to a positive, organized office environment focused on reliable, high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Required: 1–2+ years of experience in office administration, coordination, reception, customer service, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, time management, communication, and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, calendars, and standard office technology.
- Professional, dependable, and service-oriented approach.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
- Ability to successfully pass a required fingerprint-based background check.
- Preferred: Experience in home care, healthcare, senior services, staffing, or another service-based organization.
- Experience with caregiver or employee scheduling.
- Familiarity with scheduling or client management software.
