Job summary

University of Nebraska-Lincoln Office Associate in Lincoln, NE provides essential administrative support to the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders. You will liaise between the Administrative Coordinator, Department Office, College, university units, students, and the public.

Responsibilities include planning and monitoring department administration, preparing reports, managing data/files, coordinating class schedules, travel, and meetings.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with four (4) years of related experience
  • Associate degree in business, communications, English or related field with two (2) years of related experience
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar programs
  • Detail-oriented and accurate with strong organizational and communication skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently within established procedures required

Description of Work

As the Office Associate, you will provide administrative assistance to the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders, and serve as a liaison between the Administrative Coordinator, Department Office, the College, University administrative units, students, and the public.
