Must be a current Del Mar College student. The position offers flexible, on-campus hours up to 19 per week, at $12.00 per hour, and requires strong MS Office skills and teamwork.
This position is only available to current students of Del Mar College by invitation only at this time.
This is a CONTINUOUS recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill part-time, temporary, hourly assignments on an as-needed basis. Job Description Summary
The purpose of this position is to provide clerical or direct support to the Student Leadership and Campus Life (full-time and part-time staff) and its students. The expectation of this position is to communicate with internal and external entities; provide routine clerical support; and monitor the office area cleanliness and maintenance. Other duties may be assigned.
Must currently be enrolled as a Del Mar College student.
Proficient in Microsoft Office to include, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.
Ability to organize activities and coordinate groups of people.
Ability to relate to a diverse student population.
Ability to communicate effectively (reading, writing, listening, speaking).
Ability to work independently and follow-through on assigned tasks.
Ability to problem-solve, make decisions, and manage conflict.
Ability to use a PC in an office setting.
Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
One year of clerical experience.

Assist in providing great customer service to the daily operations of the Student Hub and Student Leadership & Campus Life Offices.
Answer the telephone, take messages, and make appointments for the department as appropriate. Serve as a one stop shop to directing students to Student Supportive Services.
Responsible for sharing information our Del Mar College and keeping update with all the services offered by college.
Exhibit excellent customer services skills, be familiar with all aspects of Del Mar College campus services and programs.
Collaborate with staff and faculty utilizing our center and services. Able to effectively communicate with students, staff and faculty as well as community at times.
Provide daily operation update to Student Leadership and Campus Life Director and Administrative Assistant.
