This Office Assistant position will report directly to the Director, Center for Access & Advocacy in the Center for Access & Advocacy department.
The purpose of this position is to provide clerical or direct support to the Center for Access and Advocacy staff and its students. The expectation of this position is to communicate with internal and external entities; proctor quizzes/tests/exams; provide routine clerical support; and monitor the office area cleanliness and maintenance. Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED equivalency.
Six (6) months office/clerical related experience.
Computer literate in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
Pursuing a degree in Education, Counseling, or Special Education.
Experience with electronic records management systems.

Proctor quizzes/tests/ exams and serve as reader and/or scribe for students testing in distraction-reduced environment.
Assist with the Center for Access and Advocacy outreach programs and events.
