Job Description Summary
The purpose of this position is to work in the Speech lab. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting students in the Speech lab to complete assigned Speech lessons, tutoring students in speech related activities; (i.e. assisting with researching, developing topics, creating PowerPoint, and recording speeches), data entry, answering phones and maintaining a daily log. Other assigned duties may apply.
The Speech Lab hours may vary, however working hours may be within any time that the Speech Lab is open.
Minimum Qualifications
60 hours college credit.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Knowledge of various computer software (i.e. PowerPoint, MicroSoft Office, Canvas), technology (i.e. using Smart boards, cameras, and laptops), and web site maintenance. Knowledge of general office skills (i.e. answering phones, customer relations, typing).
