The role involves supporting Project Managers and ensuring accurate financial records. The Office Administrator is responsible for data entry, billing, invoicing, and account statement duties, including maintaining ledgers, credit balances, and resolving account irregularities. This role involves interacting diplomatically with customers to provide billing information and support, facilitating swift invoice payments. The Office Administrator also supports Project Managers with billing and administrative tasks.
Shermco Industries is seeking an Office Administrator.
Candidates with a combination of education and experience will be considered. Preferably, candidates will have several years of experience in billing, accounts payable, or receivable roles within service or manufacturing industries. A thorough understanding of general accounting practices and knowledge of provincial and federal sales taxes (RST/PST/GST) are required. Experience with ERP systems like Business Central or Navision is an asset, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
