We are a non-profit agency founded in 1982 with a mission to advance the integration, growth, and interdependence of people with developmental disabilities within their own communities. Building on the strengths of over 1,100 individuals in the greater Capital Area and their families, we work to identify barriers of access and find creative solutions to develop meaningful community engagement.
The Office Administrator is responsible for tracking the administrative segment of the ISA/BSA and Amendment process along with the necessary data entry involved in this process. This position serves as the primary backup to the Receptionist/Switchboard position, which involves answering calls, distributing calls, and greeting guests in a courteous, professional manner.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: Two years' experience in a clerical or administrative position; experience with human service agencies preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook is required. Docusign experience is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
- Sign-On Bonus: $1000 total, paid as $500 at hire and $500 after 6 months. Note: Bonuses are for new hires only.
- Paid Time Off: 264.16 hours per year for full-time employees, increasing with tenure, with no waiting period to use PTO.

- Mileage Reimbursement: Reimbursed for approved mileage driven on the clock.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Tracking ISA, BSA, and Amendment processes, including data entry and document handling.
- Serving as backup for the Receptionist/Switchboard, including answering phones and greeting guests.
- Maintaining mail bins and creating name plaques for staff.
- Updating the IFS Admin Support Specialist Job Aid with protocol changes.
- Providing agency support and backup support to other administrative roles as needed.
Required Skills
- Effective communication skills in verbal and written formats.
- Ability to access community resources and advocate for families and individuals.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with families, staff, and community members.
- Ability to travel using a personal vehicle, possessing a valid NH driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and conduct home visits.
- Knowledge of behavioral strategies and supports for individuals with psychiatric or brain disorders.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Ability to self-manage work tasks and handle periods of high workload and stress.
- Must be able to sit at a computer for extended periods, and lift up to 10 pounds.
