Job summary

Cape Senior Home Healthcare is seeking a proactive Office Administrator to keep our in-person operations running smoothly and in compliance. You will support clinicians, manage calendars, coordinate travel, and ensure clear communication across teams.

Ideal candidates have prior admin experience in healthcare, strong MS Office skills, familiarity with ERP or similar office-management software, and an Associate Degree (BA preferred).

Qualifications

  • Experience as an office administrator or in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiar with MS Office; basic accounting principles; ERP systems.
  • Associate degree required; BSc/BA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate office activities to ensure efficiency and compliance with policies.
  • Supervise and mentor administrative staff.
  • Manage schedules, travel arrangements, and appointments for upper management.
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence to ensure effective communication.
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Create and update records and databases with confidentiality.
  • Track and order office supplies.
  • Prepare timely reports and compelling presentations as needed.
  • Assist colleagues and contribute to a collaborative workplace.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or in a similar role.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Organizational Prowess: Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Technical Savvy: Familiarity with office management procedures, basic accounting principles, and proficiency in MS Office and office management software (ERP, etc.).
  • Educational Background: An Associate Degree is required; a BSc/BA in office administration or a related field is preferred. Qualifications in secretarial studies are a plus.
