Job Title : Office Services Assistant (Part-Time)

Schedule : Part-time, Onsite (TuesdayThursday)

Type : Temp with Perm Potential Project

Position Summary

This role supports the newly promoted VP of Office Services who is currently overseeing a range of operational needs. This individual must be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is willing to be in the weeds to get things done.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys multitasking, event coordination, and office administration. If successful, this role has the potential to transition into a more permanent full-time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support front desk and reception coverage
  • Coordinate and set up team lunches and in-office events
  • Schedule and organize meetings, including calendar coordination and room setup
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and restock breakrooms regularly
  • Monitor and troubleshoot office equipment such as printers and copiers
  • Ensure all abandoned printed materials are shredded after 24 hours
  • Sort, scan, and file incoming mail and documents
  • Perform data entry and manage office filing systems
  • Assist in onboarding new employees (e.g., desk setup, supplies)
  • General office support to the VP of Office Services and wider team

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of office administration or facilities experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
  • Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
  • Basic troubleshooting knowledge for office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners)
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and digital filing systems
