Job description

  • Perform accounting, human resources, and other administrative duties under supervision.
  • Process payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing.
  • Track and document petty cash and corporate credit card accounts, including writing checks, requesting replenishments, and reconciling bank and internal accounts.
  • Handle new hires, job changes, pay rate changes, and terminations.
  • Complete HR-related forms such as employment verification paperwork.
  • Monitor immigration status and update I-9 forms as required.
  • Manage benefits enrollment, open enrollment, and updates.
  • Assist with warning reports and other HR issues as needed.
  • Process leave of absence and short-term disability claims.
  • Maintain and update certificates of insurance.
  • Enter vendor invoices into the accounting system accurately and promptly.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Generate and send invoices to customers as per contract terms.
  • Monitor outstanding invoices and maintain accurate records.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts via phone and email.
  • Collaborate with customers to resolve billing issues.
  • Maintain records of collection efforts and generate aging receivables reports.
  • Oversee building and equipment maintenance.
  • Provide support for computer network issues.
  • Support reception and office administration tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in HR preferred.
  • At least 2 years of HR and payroll experience with an HR degree.
  • Alternatively, 4 years of HR and payroll experience without an HR degree.
