Job summary

The role requires an Associate's degree in medical technology, with a military lab background or certification within the hire year being acceptable.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree specializing in medical technology from an accredited institution or official military medical laboratory procedures course.
• Military enlisted specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist.
• Certifications: 1 of 4 required - MLT(ASCP), AMT, NCA, MT(ASCP) within year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs a full range of simple-to-complex diagnostic tests and laboratory services in an off-site laboratory following established guidelines.
• Maintains, monitors, and stocks laboratory supplies; ensures accurate records and coordination between on/off-site staff.

Education

Associate's degree specializing in medical technology

Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biologic or clinical laboratory science or medical technology (preferred)
