Job summary

Cincinnati Children's Liberty Campus is seeking a part-time Laboratory Technician to join the Liberty Lab on the night shift, 24 hours per week (0.6 FTE). Under the general direction of the Section Supervisor, you will perform various laboratory tests and participate in cross-trained rotations to support patient care.

The role requires a chemistry or biology-related degree, minimum experience, and relevant licensure or certification; MLS/MLT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical or biological science OR Associate's degree in related science.
• 0+ years of experience.
• Any license, certification, or registration required.
• Preferred: Certified MLS or MLT through national certifying agency.

Responsibilities

• Under general direction, perform a variety of laboratory tests to obtain data for diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate instruments, perform checks, calibrations, QC procedures, and basic troubleshooting.
• Prepare specimens, store and stock supplies, and assist with registrations and sample collection.
• Maintain strong customer service and adhere to policies and safety standards.
