Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology is required.
• 2+ years of experience in a highly complex laboratory setting preferred.
• MLT-ASCP or MLS-ASCP certification preferred upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical laboratory testing.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment per manufacturer instructions.
• Conduct quality control assessments prior to reporting results.
• Collaborate with supervisor to ensure regulatory compliance and quality patient care.
• Train students and new team members; assess competency of staff as assigned.
