Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center Crestview Hills laboratory is seeking a lab professional for evening shifts. You will perform routine and complex tests, handle QC procedures, and prep samples for analysis while maintaining accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will also train staff, assist with new procedures, and participate in departmental projects to improve patient care and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical or biological science or Associate's degree in related science.
• 2+ years of experience with Bachelor's degree; 4 years with Associate's degree.
• Licenses, certifications, or registrations as required; MLS/MLT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct, direct or assist in special projects, evaluations, and research.
• Participate in cross-trained rotations and maintain competency across sections.
• Operate instruments, perform checks, calibrations, and basic troubleshooting.
• Prepare samples and reagents; manage quality control and inventory.
• Train bench personnel and students; act as a superuser for lab info system.
