Horan Hiring Solutions is seeking experienced Off-Shift Production Supervisors for a Tier 1 automotive stamping facility in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The role oversees multiple production lines on 2nd or 3rd shift, ensures safety, quality, and productivity, and leads teams in a fast-paced environment.

Automotive manufacturing experience and strong leadership are essential. Compensation includes a $65,000–$75,000 salary plus eligible overtime, with opportunities for growth and a robust benefits

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in manufacturing required.
• Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred (Tier 1).
• Experience managing multiple production lines in high-volume facilities.
• Background in metal stamping/heavy fabrication/automotive structural components desirable.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and accountability skills.
• Understanding of production scheduling and KPIs.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily production operations across multiple lines during 2nd/3rd shift.
• Lead, train, and develop workers to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Monitor schedules, staffing levels, and equipment performance to meet demand.
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering to address challenges.
• Track production metrics like efficiency, scrap, downtime, and OEE.
• Manage attendance, performance, scheduling, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Communicate updates and shift performance to plant leadership.
