Qualifications

• Previous production supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred, Tier 1 a plus.
• Experience overseeing multiple production lines in high-volume plants.
• Background in metal stamping, heavy fabrication, or automotive structural components.
• Experience in union environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations across multiple lines on 2nd and 3rd shift.
• Lead, train, and develop employees to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Monitor schedules, staffing, and equipment performance to meet demand.
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering to address challenges.
• Track KPIs such as efficiency, downtime, and scrap; adjust as needed.
• Manage attendance, performance, scheduling, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Communicate updates and shift performance to plant leadership.
