Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Off-Shift Production Supervisor for a Tier 1 automotive stamping facility in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. This role will oversee 2nd and 3rd shifts, leading multiple production lines and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity across the operation.

The ideal candidate has automotive manufacturing experience, strong leadership, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Must have production supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Automotive manufacturing experience, especially Tier 1, is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing multiple production lines in a high-volume facility.
• Background in metal stamping, heavy fabrication, or automotive structural components is desirable.
• Union environment experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and accountability skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and make fast decisions.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations across multiple lines during 2nd/3rd shift.
• Lead, train, and develop staff to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
• Monitor schedules, staffing levels, and equipment performance to meet demand.
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering to address challenges.
• Track KPIs such as efficiency, scrap, downtime, and OEE.
• Manage attendance, performance, scheduling, and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Support continuous improvement focused on safety, quality and productivity.
• Communicate updates and shift performance to plant leadership.
