Horan Hiring Solutions seeks experienced Off-Shift Production Supervisors for a Tier 1 automotive facility in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The role focuses on leading second and third shift lines, driving safety, quality, and productivity, and developing teams to achieve targets.

The ideal candidate will have strong automotive manufacturing background, multi-line supervision, and the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have prior production supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Automotive manufacturing experience is strongly preferred, especially Tier 1 suppliers.
• Experience overseeing multiple production lines in a high-volume environment.
• Background in metal stamping or heavy fabrication is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations across second and third shifts.
• Lead, train, and develop production staff to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Monitor schedules, staffing, and equipment performance to satisfy customer demand.
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering to address challenges.
• Track metrics like efficiency, scrap, downtime, and OEE.
• Manage attendance, performance, scheduling, and disciplinary actions.
• Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.
• Communicate updates and shift performance to plant leadership.
