Job summary

Durex Industries is seeking an Outside Sales Engineer for the Midwest US region. You will drive sales growth in assigned territories, focusing on equipment heating market sectors and supporting all sales activities from prospecting to closing.

Candidates should reside in Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison, or Minneapolis, with 2+ years of outside sales experience and a technical degree preferred. A competitive pay range includes a car allowance and variable pay.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering preferred; other technical degrees considered.

Responsibilities

• Nurture relationships and drive sales growth with current and future customers.
• Schedule and attend in-person and remote customer meetings.
• Develop proposals and perform basic thermal calculations to determine heating requirements.
• Manage CRM data as required by leadership.
• Handle order cycle tasks: quote generation, order entry, drawings, and RMAs.
• Grow sales within defined customer lists and reclaim previous business.
