Job summary

MKS Instruments is seeking a Director of Business Development - OEM for the San Francisco Bay Area or West Coast. You will identify and manage strategic opportunities, build relationships with OEMs, OSATS, IDMs, and supply chain partners, and drive technology leads to sales with POR specifications.

This is an individual contributor role, with potential to lead a small staff, requiring 10+ years in BD in semiconductor or PCB industries, strong PM and communication skills, and willingness to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in BD, sales or similar in Semiconductor/Packaging/PCB.
• Strong network with end users and supply chain.
• Excellent PM skills and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain networks with end users and supply chain.
• Coordinate with BUs and regional sales to drive POR approvals.
• Identify and manage new programs and opportunities.
• Lead priority growth projects and cross-functional team.
• Represent at major electronics conferences.
• Develop knowledge of OEM/TIER-1 requirements.
