Job summary

Acrisure is seeking an experienced OCIP Safety Manager to lead construction site safety across multiple active projects. You will ensure OSHA compliance, enforce safety standards, and promote a proactive safety culture while traveling between sites as needed.

The role requires 10+ years in heavy construction safety, CHST certification, and strong communication with contractors, project teams, and regulators.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of heavy construction safety experience.
• CHST certification required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and OCIP familiarity.
• Travel between sites is required.
• Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction site safety activities across multiple active projects under OCIP.
• Travel between sites to perform safety inspections and compliance reviews.
• Monitor OSHA, OCIP, and project safety standards compliance.
• Identify hazards and coordinate corrective actions with contractors.
• Lead safety reviews, incident investigations, and reporting.
• Support OSHA inspections and regulatory interactions as needed.
• Lead safety stand-downs and ongoing tailgate meetings.
• Mentor teams to foster a proactive safety culture.
