Job summary

Acrisure is seeking an experienced OCIP Safety Manager to oversee construction site safety across active OCIP programs. This full-time role ensures OSHA compliance, enforces project safety standards, and promotes a proactive safety culture on multiple sites, traveling between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy construction safety experience required.
• CHST certification required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
• Experience with OCIP programs is highly beneficial.
• Experience conducting site inspections, hazard assessments, and investigations.
• Ability to travel regularly between active construction sites.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with contractors and regulators.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction site safety across OCIP programs on multiple sites.
• Travel between sites to conduct safety inspections and audits.
• Monitor OSHA, OCIP requirements, and site safety standards.
• Identify hazards and coordinate corrective actions with contractors.
• Conduct daily safety reviews and verify procedures are followed.
• Prepare safety reports and maintain documentation.
• Investigate incidents and support corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Participate in meetings and provide safety updates to stakeholders.
• Support OSHA inspections and regulatory interactions as needed.
• Ensure completion of required safety training and tailgate talks.
• Lead safety stand-downs and promote continuous improvement.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
