Job summary

Acrisure is seeking an experienced OCIP Safety Manager to oversee construction site safety across active projects. The role requires extensive heavy construction safety experience and the ability to travel between sites to enforce safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have CHST certification, strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, and proven ability to lead safety initiatives while coordinating with contractors and insurance stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy construction safety experience.
• CHST certification required.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to travel regularly between sites.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction site safety across multiple active OCIP projects.
• Travel between sites to conduct safety inspections and audits.
• Monitor OSHA, OCIP requirements, and project safety standards.
• Identify hazards and coordinate corrective actions with contractors.
• Conduct daily safety reviews and prepare safety reports.
• Investigate incidents and support corrective actions and prevention.
• Participate in meetings and provide safety guidance and updates.
• Support OSHA inspections and regulatory interactions as needed.
• Ensure completion of safety training, orientation, and tailgate meetings.
• Lead safety stand-downs and promote continuous safety improvement.
