Job summary
Acrisure is seeking an experienced OCIP Safety Manager to oversee construction site safety across active projects. This role acts as the primary on-site safety resource, partnering with contractors, project teams, and insurers to identify risks, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
The position requires extensive heavy construction safety experience, CHST certification, and the ability to travel between sites.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of heavy construction safety experience
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and OCIP programs
- Experience inspecting sites, auditing safety programs, investigating incidents
Responsibilities
- Oversee construction site safety across multiple active projects
- Travel between sites to conduct safety inspections and audits
- Monitor OSHA/OCIP compliance and project safety standards
- Identify hazards and coordinate corrective actions with contractors
- Lead daily safety reviews and prepare safety reports
- Investigate incidents and support preventive actions
- Participate in project meetings and safety briefings
- Support OSHA inspections and training activities
- Ensure completion of safety trainings and tailgate sessions
- Drive continuous safety improvements across projects
