Job summary

Loews Miami Beach Hotel is seeking a Pool & Beach Attendant to warmly greet guests, assist with pool, beach and recreation activities, and uphold safety and comfort across outdoor spaces. You'll host classes and events, manage cabana and chair setups, coordinate with housekeeping and engineering, and help guests enjoy memorable experiences in our signature, understated style.

Previous hospitality experience and CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are preferred; lifeguard certification is a

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire); Lifeguard certification a plus depending on property needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confidence in facilitating groups and activities.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel) and point-of-sale systems; familiarity with scheduling tools.
• Reliable, organized, and proactive with a collaborative mindset.
• Knowledge of local attractions and outdoor/recreation practices; comfortable working outdoors.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at pools, beach areas, fitness centers, and recreation desks; provide information on amenities, hours, and programming.
• Host and support daily activities (e.g., fitness classes, lawn games, children’s crafts, movie nights, seasonal events).
• Create a warm, friendly atmosphere while maintaining Loews’ understated elegance and brand standards.
• Assist with cabana and chair reservations; escort guests to locations and provide setup (towels, water, amenities).
• Monitor safety, enforce rules, and respond to incidents; coordinate with Security/Engineering as needed.
