Job summary

Loews Miami Beach Hotel is hiring a Pool Service Attendant to support daily pool operations and ensure a clean, welcoming environment for guests at our oceanfront resort.

You will help with seating, towel and amenity distribution, assist servers, and maintain pool deck safety and cleanliness. The role requires guest focus, reliability in a fast-paced outdoor setting, and a willingness to work varied shifts in South Beach.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service or hospitality experience.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with seating, towels, and amenities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of chairs, cabanas, tables, and surrounding areas.
• Replenish towel stations, pool supplies, and guest amenities throughout the day.
• Clear used towels, cups, and debris promptly to maintain a clean environment.
• Assist servers by delivering items, water, or condiments when needed.
• Monitor pool deck conditions and ensure walkways remain safe and free of hazards.
• Reset loungers and cabanas between guests for a polished appearance.
• Assist with cabana setup, amenities, and preparation for special requests.
• Communicate guest needs or concerns promptly to leadership or servers.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and pool deck operational guidelines.
• Support opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown of stations.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
