• Strong ocean freight product and pricing knowledge.
• Solid knowledge of sales process and business development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Interpersonal skills including conflict management and negotiation.
• Cross-cultural competence.
• Self-starter with planning and organizing skills.
• Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
• MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint knowledge.
• Fluent English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth from SME customers and existing accounts.
• Sponsor selected accounts at a national level for escalations and pricing decisions.
• Define Ocean Freight product priorities and related business plan for routes and US territory.
• Evaluate and execute product-related services to catalyze growth.
• Organize bi-lateral trade summits and support sales visits planning/execution.
• Work with trade analytics and market intelligence to support the sales organization.
