DHL Global Forwarding is seeking an Route Development Manager USA – Transpacific India Sub-Continent to drive profitable growth for ocean freight products and pricing across key SME accounts. The role bridges commercial teams and operations, requiring strong market knowledge and cross-cultural collaboration.

Responsibilities include defining product priorities, executing growth plans, and coordinating trade events, supported by market analytics and a strategic US-wide perspective.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a business discipline; 5–10 years of related experience.
• Strong ocean freight product and pricing knowledge.
• Thorough understanding of the sales process and business development strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills including conflict management and negotiation.
• Cross-cultural competence and cultural sensitivity.
• Self-starter with excellent planning and organizing skills.
• Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Drive profitable growth from new and existing customers with a focus on SME segment.
• Sponsor selected accounts at a national level to facilitate commercial escalations, pricing decisions that foster growth and satisfaction.
• Define Ocean Freight product priorities and related business plan for routes and US territory.
• Evaluate, propose and execute product-related services to catalyze growth.
• Organize bi-lateral trade summits with overseas countries and support sales visit planning.
• Work with trade analytics and market intelligence to support the sales organization and growth.
