JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. in South Carolina is seeking a detail-oriented Import Specialist to process ocean import shipments, handle customs entries, and ensure compliance with FDA, ISF, and other regulations.

You will prepare documentation, coordinate with suppliers and customers, and monitor release statuses. The role requires at least 3 years in imports, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in imports or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of FDA and ISF processes is preferred.
• Knowledge of US customs laws and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Process Customs Entries, classify invoices, file RLF entries, and enter electronic invoices.
• Coordinate entry and break bulk shipments; liaise with Sales for account implementation.
• Prepare and review documentation for accuracy, including FDA-related entries.
• Transmit information to ABI and monitor customs releases.
• Provide timely shipping instructions and update tracking systems.
