Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Ocean Operations Agent I to coordinate day-to-day ocean import/export activities for US shipments. You will work with customers to qualify requirements, prepare quotations, and handle bookings, data entry, and milestone updates in CargoWise.

The role emphasizes timely communication, adherence to SOPs and company KPIs, and collaboration with sales teams and international partners to resolve issues and ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic math & geography skills are desirable.
• Ability to analyze numerical data and understand components, relationships, patterns and conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day ocean import and export operations.
• Prepare accurate quotations and bookings in CargoWise.
• Manage tracking and updates for shipments and communicate delays or issues.
• Coordinate recovery/delivery with cartage agents and international partners.
• Ensure shipments are billed according to guidelines and meet KPIs.
