DHL Global Forwarding in the United States is seeking a Shipment Execution Specialist to manage all shipment activities and serve as the main contact for customers. You will ensure service commitments, resolve issues, and identify opportunities to upsell while maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities include coordinating bookings, documentation, routing, invoicing, and compliance with regulatory requirements, with a focus on profitability and timely problem resolution to retain

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ocean import/export experience.
• Strong financial business acumen.
• A can-do attitude with strong prioritization.
• Knowledge of INCO terms.
• CargoWise systems knowledge.
• Hazmat certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer shipment-level activities including booking and documentation.
• Serve as the customer’s first point of contact for information and disputes.
• Route and assign shipments to meet service promises and maximize profit.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for commodities and locations.
• Maintain client relationships and identify upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Product, and Global Service Centers.
• May perform other tasks as required.
