Qualifications

• 5+ years in freight forwarding, logistics or related field preferred.
• Prior ocean imports experience and supervisory roles highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ocean imports, including carrier selection, booking, and transport.
• Collaborate with logistics, finance and operations to ensure seamless service.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors and service providers.
• Address customer inquiries promptly to maintain satisfaction.

• Stay updated on ocean freight regulations and import controls.

• Identify and execute cost-reducing process improvements.
• Monitor and report on KPIs like delivery times, costs and quality.
• Analyze performance data to spot trends and opportunities.
