Responsibilities

• Provide responsible supervision and control for all department activities
• Work with Branch Manager to establish long and short-term business plans, objectives and goals for department
• Manage profitability and growth of department; review and reconcile all management and financial reports
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, expense reports and forecasts
• Manage staff development through recruitment and training efforts
• Appraise worker productivity and performance; conduct performance reviews
• Investigate and resolve performance problems per HR policies
• Adhere to company policies and guidelines
• Identify and communicate unresolved issues or risks to Branch Manager
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver high level of service
• Develop metrics to measure department performance
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Lead and manage Export team through influence and persuasion
• Coordinate department activities with regional and local staff
• Provide guidance and coaching to teams
• Deliver results by leveraging right people
• Lead resolution of difficult issues with negotiation
• Maintain motivation to ensure customer satisfaction
• Provide growth opportunities for team members
• Support performance reviews for team members
