JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. is seeking an Ocean Export Supervisor in Charleston to oversee daily export operations, coordinating ocean and air shipments and ensuring compliance with regulations.

You will supervise teams, drive efficiency, and collaborate with the Ocean Export Manager on KPIs and process improvements. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in Ocean Export within freight forwarding, 1–3 years in supervision, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years relevant Ocean Export in the freight forwarding space.
• Minimum 1–3 years supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate the daily workflow of the Ocean Export teams to maintain efficient and productive operations.
• Identify operational issues and support effective, timely solutions.
• Utilize reporting methods to quantify and prioritize workload.
• Work closely with the Ocean Export Manager and internal stakeholders on KPIs, performance metrics, and process improvements.
• Support communication with export-related authorities, customers, and suppliers as necessary to maintain efficient, positive, and compliant operations.
