Job summary

Expeditors in the United States is seeking an Ocean Export Assistant to support the Manager and Supervisor with all aspects of the Ocean Export Department, ensuring timely freight movement and excellent customer service.

The role involves preparing documents, billing accuracy, and coordinating with customers to arrange international export shipments while upholding SOPs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years Ocean Export/Industry experience preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to adapt to changes.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Process oriented.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Prepare documents for international transportation.
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing and data entry into our operating system.
• Interact with our customers in arranging their international export shipments, meeting customer service standards.
• Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas to improve efficiency.
• Monitor shipment reports to ensure total customer satisfaction.
