Job summary

Synchrony’s Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) role in Muncie, IN supports therapists in delivering therapeutic interventions. You will assist with ADLs, therapeutic exercises, documentation, and patient education under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Requires OTA licensure and a current CPR certification (preferred). 0–1 years experience; benefits begin after the first month in a collaborative interdisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold an OTA licensure or certification
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Education: OTA program completion from accredited school
• Experience: 0-1 years

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists.
• Help patients with ADLs, exercises, and adaptive techniques.
• Document patient responses and progress for supervising OT.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and progress strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for comprehensive treatment.
• Support therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress.
• Other duties as assigned.
