Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) per IDFPR.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Follows the therapist's plan of care and communicates with the evaluating therapist before adjusting treatment.
• Implements patient-centered, occupation-based intervention plans and adapts activities to meet patient needs.
• Collaborates with patient, family, and health care team throughout the OT process.
• Educates patients, families, and other health care providers using effective teaching methods.
• Maintains clear, objective documentation to support decisions and payer needs.
