Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide patient-centered occupational therapy services across a range of ages. You will implement treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with therapists, patients, and families to ensure effective care.

A sign-on bonus is offered as part of this role. Qualified candidates hold an Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistance, a valid OTA license, and BLS certification, with at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Education required: Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Licenses/certifications: OTA license and BLS.
• 1+ year work experience as OTA or similar role.
• Continuing education required for acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Follow the plan of care and adjust treatment based on patient response with therapist communication.
• Implement patient-centered, occupation-based interventions.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and care team throughout rehab process.
• Educate patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Document accurately to support payer decisions and quality of care.
